This course is suited to people who need or want advanced life support skills and knowledge for work purposes such as rescue workers, lifesavers, ski patrol, industrial work sites, and volunteer or professional first aid officers. This course focuses on defibrillation, oxygen administration, spinal management, safe manual handling skills, OH&S guidelines and pharmacology. Further your skills and learn about scene management, vital signs and secondary surveys; this unit equips learners with the ability to be leaders in a first aid environment.
